Symptoms of Spinal Subluxation

By Juanita Swindell

The vertebral subluxation is caused due to improper position or motion of the spinal bones that upset the nerve communication between the body and the brain. The spinal subluxation is a response to stress. The misalignment of the spine could occur due to a number of reasons and its impact generally varies from person to person. Symptoms of this condition can range from mild to severe and from spasms in the muscles to chafed adjacent nerves.

These are some of the most common symptoms of spinal subluxation.

Aching Back And Neck

Pain in the neck and back are the most common symptoms of this condition. The pain generally shoots up in the neck or back and at times patients can experience pain in one or both areas. The severity of the pain tends to vary considerably, with some patients experiencing mild pain while others experiencing excruciating pain and total debilitation. If you often experience pain in the back or neck then you should consider consulting an orthopaedic or chiropractic doctor.

Inability To Move Around

This is yet another common signal of spinal subluxation. The pain caused by misalignment of the vertebrae could make it extremely problematic to move for the patient. It is common for the patient to experience inflexibility and stiffness. The patient might find it extremely difficult to perform a simple chore. Many people who suffer from this condition tend to restrict their general movement in order to lessen the painful symptoms. However, this further compounds the issue and makes the stiffness even more difficult to handle. If you find that there is a deterioration in the degree of spine flexibility, it is a good idea to get your spine checked by a specialist at the earliest.

The mounting tension and pressure caused by spinal subluxation can often lead to headache. Since there is no way to release the built up pressure, it causes a pain in your head by reaching the base of the head. Headaches without any apparent reason can be caused by a number of physical problems including spinal subluxation. So if you are experiencing frequent headaches accompanied by spinal stiffness then its' time for you to make an appointment with an orthopaedic.

Reduced Range Of Motion

Many patients of spinal subluxation are often not able to twist or turn their head and hip to either side easily. A continuous stressful feeling and stiffness in the joints and muscles are very common signs of spinal subluxation.

If you are experiencing any of the above mentioned symptoms then the first thing you need to do is make an appointment with the expert chiropractors of Lakeland Spine Center.
